I love to read—most especially God’s Word. Each of my days begin with a special time set aside, devoted to reading. I then grab every spare minute I can, carrying a book everywhere I go! This blog serves as a personal extension of my social media posts on many (but not all) of those books.
I love being a pastor. After having served as an elder and ministry leader for a number of years, I made the leap to full-time ministry in 2011. The local church is the greatest place on the planet; and the privilege to study God’s Word and teach it to His people is such a blessing. The responsibility to serve in this way is great, but so is the privilege. I’m the executive pastor at GraceLife Church outside of Hershey, PA.
Prior to entering full-time ministry, I spent the past twenty years in the broadcast industry. Highlights include managing the daily operations of Washington DC’s Christian radio station WAVA, launching and producing radio programs, writing for national publications (see articles from Billboard Magazine and WSJ.com), and overseeing large scale digital and interactive media projects.
I am a recent graduate of Summit University (Bachelor of Biblical Studies) and Baptist Bible Seminary (Master of Ministry). My greatest passion is to “proclaim Him… that we may present every man complete in Christ” (Col 1:28).
